Problem of the Week

Updated at Sep 8, 2014 1:03 PM

This week we have another calculus problem:

How can we find the derivative of \(\frac{1}{{x}^{\frac{15}{2}}}\)?

Let's start!

\[\frac{d}{dx} \frac{1}{{x}^{\frac{15}{2}}}\]

1
Use Power Rule: \(\frac{d}{dx} {x}^{n}=n{x}^{n-1}\).
\[-\frac{15}{2{x}^{\frac{17}{2}}}\]
