Problem of the Week

Updated at Dec 8, 2014 12:03 PM

This week we have another calculus problem:

How can we find the derivative of \(\frac{1}{{x}^{\frac{3}{2}}}\)?

Let's start!

\[\frac{d}{dx} \frac{1}{{x}^{\frac{3}{2}}}\]

Use Power Rule: \(\frac{d}{dx} {x}^{n}=n{x}^{n-1}\).
\[-\frac{3}{2{x}^{\frac{5}{2}}}\]
